The private bathroom with a bath or shower was a dream come true! After a long day at the beach, I was able to relax and unwind in the comfort of my own space. It was the perfect way to end each day.
For me personally, I found the lack of a mini-fridge a little inconvenient. But hey, I guess some people might not mind.

The cottage is in a fantastic location, with pubs, restaurants, shops, and the quayside all within walking distance. The cottage itself is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a cozy sofa. The glass roof allows for plenty of natural light, making the cottage feel warm and inviting. There is allocated parking available, and guests are provided with logs for the wood burner. Complimentary snacks and drinks are also provided, which is a nice touch.
The cutlery could use improvement.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in a fabulous location, and it was truly a memorable weekend. The cottage was cozy and perfect, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity to the town and the beach was fantastic, making it easy to explore and enjoy our surroundings. Despite initially finding parking a bit hard, the host was very helpful in resolving any issues we had. The cottage itself was well-maintained and had all the amenities we could ask for, including logs for the wood burner and even complimentary snacks and drinks. The glass roof added a unique touch, providing plenty of natural light throughout the day. Although the cutlery was not great, it was a minor drawback that didn't dampen our overall experience. With its great position near pubs, restaurants, shops, and the quayside, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The private bathroom with a bath or shower at Madeleine's Barn was perfect for me as a young holiday goer. It felt so luxurious and refreshing to soak in the tub after a long day of exploring Wells-next-the-Sea. It was like having my own mini spa retreat in the comfort of my room!
Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like about the bathroom at Madeleine's Barn. It was just my personal taste that I prefer showers over baths.

A private bathroom with a bath or shower was a godsend after a long day exploring Wells-next-the-Sea. It was like taking a refreshing dip in the ocean, only without the sand-filled bathing suit! Plus, the free WiFi throughout the property meant I could share all my beach selfies without any worries.
Limited parking spots.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location couldn't have been more perfect, with pubs, restaurants, shops, and the quayside just a stone's throw away. The cottage itself was in top-notch condition, super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The beds and sofa were so comfy, although the sofa was a bit low for us tall folks. The glass roof made the whole place incredibly light and the building was so warm that we didn't even need to use the logs we brought. The only slight hiccup was the slightly awkward key situation, but we managed just fine. And to our surprise, there were actually two parking spaces at the side of the cottage, so no more tight parking behind the gate. We would definitely go back to this jaw-dropping place, with its easy-to-find location, allocated parking, and fantastic proximity to town and the beach. And the little touches like the complimentary red wine, crisps, and biscuits were just the cherry on top. a super fabulous and relaxing stay with everything we needed.

Great location, close to pubs, restaurants, shops, and the quayside. Clean and well-maintained cottage with everything you need. Comfy beds and sofa, although the sofa is a little low for tall people. The glass roof makes the cottage light and warm. Also, there are two parking spaces available, which is a bonus.
The only downside was the cutlery, which wasn't great. However, overall, it was a truly memorable weekend stay.

Our stay at Madeleine's Barn was excellent value for money. The apartment was lovely, well-equipped, and had a cozy wood burner. The location was fantastic with easy access to the town and a short walk to the beach. The host was very helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast delights could be improved with better cutlery.
